DeskPins. A great software to keep windows visible all times
I found this great software called DeskPins, which allows you to "pin" a window or windows and keep it on and visible all the time. Once you’ve installed it, you’ll find a pin icon in your taskbar tray (it’s called the system notification area in Windows Vista). Just select the pin icon and click on the window you want to keep on top, you can pin and unlimited number of windows. This feature is similar to the "keep on top" function of most software, however not all software has it.
The footprint of DeskPin is very small and not demanding on your computer CPU or RAM. Here is the sytem requirements:
- Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003.
- 386/10MHz class CPU or higher
- 4 MB RAM
- less than 100 KB of free disk space
- 4 bpp (16 colors) minimum - 8 bpp (256 colors) or more recommended
